Saudi Aramco said that a series of desalination plants with a total value of 1.1 billion US dollars were about to start, covering the main areas of the country, such as Dammam, Hubair, Hasa and Kativ. The company said in a statement that the scope of the project includes the implementation of more than 316 kilometers of conveyors and trunk lines, the construction of an operating reservoir with a capacity of 1.5 million cubic meters, and the improvement of the water supply network.
Nimr Al Shibl, CEO of NMC, said that this would help strengthen the infrastructure of the distribution system and ensure its operational efficiency in cities and provinces in the eastern region. His comments were made during the inspection of the progress of water supply services and environmental treatment infrastructure projects in Dammam and Hubair and Hasa provinces.
The company added that the engineering design of these projects has been fully completed, and the preparation of the construction site of the operation reservoir and the work of the main pipeline and branch pipeline will start this month. Keywords: overseas news, engineering news
