On December 18, 2022, the trial operation ceremony of Kuwait Medical Insurance Hospital contracted by China Metallurgical Science and Engineering Corporation (MCC) was held in Ahmadi Province, Kuwait.

The Kuwait Medical Insurance Hospital Project is a large general hospital project in Kuwait that specializes in opening medical insurance services to foreign nationals. It includes two hospitals, located in Ahmadi Province and Jahra Province, with a total construction area of about 85000 square meters and a project amount of about 500 million dollars. As the first batch of hospitals constructed under Kuwait's "2035 National Vision", the project aims to improve the basic medical security conditions in Kuwait. Since the commencement of construction, it has been highly valued by the local government and closely watched by the local society.

Mutlig Sani said at the trial operation ceremony that MCC had made great efforts in the construction of the project, and the two hospitals contracted were of high quality, which was highly recognized by the Kuwaiti government.

According to the data of Kuwait Central Bureau of Statistics, the foreign population of Kuwait will be nearly 2.8 million in 2022, which is the main source of labor in the country.
