On December 27, 2022, the successful candidates for the general contracting of Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Line 4 Phase I Project and Line 5 Phase I Project were announced.

Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Line 4 Phase I Project

The first phase of Line 4 starts from Yucun South Road Station and ends at Dongyuan East Road Station. It is laid along Huiming Road, Huifeng Road, Cangfeng Road, South Second Ring Road, Jianhua Street and Gaoying Street, with a total length of 22.43km, all of which are underground lines. There are 19 stations, including 6 transfer stations. Xigangtou depot is set. The total investment of the project is about 17.25 billion yuan.

The planned construction period is 5.5 years, the planned commencement date is December 30, 2022, and the planned completion date is June 30, 2027, subject to the Tenderee's notice.

Shijiazhuang Urban Rail Transit Line 5 Phase I Project

The line of Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Line 5 Phase I starts from Gongbei Road Station and ends at Tangu North Street Station. It is laid along Hongqi Street and Youyi Street in a north-south direction. After connecting Shijiazhuang North Station, it is laid along Shizhuang Road and Guanghua Road in an east-west direction. The total length is about 19.9 kilometers, all of which are underground lines. There are 18 stations, including 6 transfer stations. New Gongjiazhuang vehicle base and Hongqi main substation will be built. The total investment of the project is 17.07 billion yuan.
