On December 28, 2022, the Quzhou Songyang Section of Quzhou Lijiang Railway, which was invested and constructed by Zhejiang Communications Group, was officially started in Suichang County, Lishui City. As an important project supporting the construction of Quli "Grand Garden", the second phase of the main line of Quli Railway is 94.8 km long, with a design speed of 200 km/h, and an approved budget estimate of 17.633 billion yuan. It is planned to be completed and opened to traffic in 2026. This is a key project for Zhejiang Communications Group to set off a new round of major transport projects and accelerate the construction of the transport rail network in the process of accelerating the construction of a high-level transport province.

After the Quzhou Lishui Railway is completed and opened to traffic, it will only take about 55 minutes to travel from Quzhou to Lishui by train. There is no need to bypass Jinhua. The original one and a half hour drive will be shortened by about 40%. The convenient transportation channels between central and southwest China and Lishui and Wenzhou through Quzhou will also be completely opened.

A golden belt connecting five mountainous counties in southwest Zhejiang

Quzhou Lijiang Railway, located in the southwest of Zhejiang Province, is a national medium and long-term railway network planning and multi-level rail transit planning project in the Yangtze River Delta, and an important project to comprehensively implement the construction of Zhejiang Grand Garden and support the development of the ecological tourism belt in the southwest of Zhejiang Province. The whole line of the project connects five mountain counties in total, namely Qujiang District, Longyou County, Suichang County, Songyang County, and Liandu District. It is of great significance to improve the layout of the road network in the southwest of Zhejiang, realize the integration of Songyang and Suichang into the "one hour Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle", support the revitalization of the old revolutionary base areas, and promote the high-quality development of the mountain counties along the line.

Quzhou Lishui Railway starts from Quzhou City in the west and ends at Lishui City in the east, with a total length of 160.1 km. It is constructed according to the standard of new double line, passenger and freight lines, and design speed of 200 km/h, with a total investment of 26.72 billion yuan. The west end connects Shanghai Kunming Railway, Jiujing Quzhou Railway and Hangzhou Quzhou Railway via Quzhou area, and the east end connects Lishui area and connects Jinliwen Railway. The project construction shall be implemented by sections.

Among them, the first phase of the project is Songyang Lishui Section, which starts from Songyang Station of Quning Railway, passes through Songyang County and Liandu District of Lishui City, and ends at Lishui Station of Jinliwen Railway, with Songyang Station, Dongxiyan Station and Lishui Station. The main line is 65.3 km long, and the construction will start in December 2020. As of December 25, the completed investment was 2.8212 billion yuan, accounting for 31.05% of the total investment.

The second phase of the project is Quzhou Songyang Section, which starts from Qujiang Station of Hangzhou Quzhou Railway, passes through Qujiang District and Longyou County under the jurisdiction of Quzhou City, Suichang County and Songyang County under the jurisdiction of Lishui City, and ends at Songyang Station of Quning Railway, with four stations, namely Qujiang, Longyou, Suichang West and Songyang.

With the construction of Quzhou Lijiang Railway, together with Jinliwen Railway, Hangzhou Quzhou Railway and Hangzhou Huanghua Railway, the region will form a "big garden" railway ring in Zhejiang Province, and become the "golden belt" of the big garden in the rear of the Yangtze River Delta, greatly improving regional traffic conditions, driving the development of tourism economy, and promoting high-quality development of the regions along the line and regional economy.

After the opening of the line, the ethnic township tourism in Qujiang, the bamboo industry in Suichang, the tea industry in Songyang, and the booming green energy and digital economy along the line are expected to achieve greater development through closer personnel exchanges and benefit the people along the line. "We will expand the space for development in an all-round way with major transportation projects. "Due to the large topographic relief and complex geological conditions along the Quzhou Lijiang Railway Phase II Project, the bridge tunnel ratio is as high as 89.9%, which also brings great challenges to our construction. With the help of the" whole process consultation "model, which is the first in the national railway field, we conducted sufficient geological exploration and construction scheme research, and professionally and efficiently promoted the feasibility study, land use approval and other preliminary work, laying the foundation for smooth commencement." Create a new highland for railway intelligent manufacturing

For project construction, land acquisition and demolition shall be carried out first. It is understood that the second phase of Quzhou Lijiang Railway will start the land acquisition and demolition work in 2023, and it is planned to popularize the "digital land acquisition and relocation" platform that is mature in the current phase I project in June. In addition, the "black technologies" such as 3D section scanner and three arm drilling jumbo used in the first phase of Quzhou Lijiang Railway also add "digital" wings to the construction of the second phase of the project.
