On December 27, 2022, Jiang Yi, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Huadian Corporation, paid a visit to Sun Shaocheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in Hohhot, and attended the signing ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between China Huadian Corporation and the Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Wang Lixia, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region and Chairman of the Autonomous Region, Huang Zhiqiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region, Executive Vice Chairman of the Autonomous Region and Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Group of the Government, Yu Lixin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region and Secretary General of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region, attended the meeting and signing ceremony. Wu Jingkai, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy General Manager of the Group, attended the meeting and signed an agreement with the government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on behalf of China Huadian.

Sun Shaocheng welcomed Jiang Yi and his delegation and thanked China Huadian for its strong support to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for a long time. Sun Shaocheng pointed out that the people of Inner Mongolia would be very happy if China Huadian and the government of the autonomous region jointly set up a development agency to promote cooperative operation. It is hoped that the two sides will take the signing of this agreement as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation and exchanges in the field of new energy development, promote the project to be implemented quickly and take effect early, and promote the better development of relevant enterprises in the autonomous region.

Jiang Yi thanked the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for its long-term support and assistance to China Huadian Corporation, and briefly introduced the industrial layout of China Huadian Corporation in Inner Mongolia and its next development plan. Jiang Yi said that China Huadian will give full play to its advantages in scientific research, technology, talent and other aspects, actively participate in the construction of the whole new energy industry chain, and help Inner Mongolia build an important national energy and strategic resource base.
