Prince City to Xilinhot Railway

According to reports, the Prince City-Xilinhot Railway connects northern Hebei and eastern Mongolia. The line starts from Taizicheng Station of the Chongli Railway, passes through Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, and Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to the north, and then introduces the Xilinhot Station of the Xilinhot-Ulanhot Railway. The total length is 392 km. km, which is a national Class I electrified railway. There are Prince City, Chongli, Zhangbei, Guyuan County, Taipusi Banner, Saibei Management Area, Heichengzi, Zhenglan Banner, Abdu Hudug, Sangendalaibei, Wuritu, Baiyinkulun, Hui There are 15 stations in Tengliang, Beilike, and Xilinhot, among which 5 stations in Chongli, Zhangbei, Guyuan County, Taipusi Banner, and Saibei Management Area are new stations, and the others are reconstruction and expansion stations.

The Prince City-Xilinhot railway will be constructed in three sections, of which the Prince City-Chongli section is 16 kilometers long and will be opened to traffic in January 2022; the Heichengzi-Xilinhot section is an existing railway with a length of 241 kilometers and is undergoing electrification transformation; The newly started Chongli-Heichengzi section is 135 kilometers long, with a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour and a construction period of 3.5 years.

After the completion of the Prince City-Xilinhot Railway, the road network structure in northern Hebei and eastern Inner Mongolia will be further improved, and it will be connected to multiple lines such as the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway, the Jining-Tongliao Railway, and the Xilinhot-Ulanhot Railway, which will greatly facilitate the travel of people along the line.
