The project was won by a consortium of local powerful enterprises, with a total investment of about 6.544 billion yuan.

Project overview

Pingxiang Ring Expressway Project is an important part of Pingxiang's construction of "three horizontal, one vertical and one around" expressway network. The whole line of the project is located in Pingxiang County, starting at Yinhe Town, Luxi County, connecting with Changjin Section of Shanghai Kunming Expressway, and ending at Pinglian Expressway, passing through 6 towns and townships in Luxi and eastern Hunan. The total length of the line is about 37.41km. The standard of two-way 4-lane expressway is adopted, the design speed is 100km/h, and the estimated investment of the project is 6.42 billion yuan. There are 43 bridges, two tunnels, five interchanges, and one service area along the line, The construction period is 36 months.

After the completion of the project, it will greatly improve the traffic conditions and regional highway network structure in the south of Pingxiang City, optimize the industrial layout of Pingxiang City, and have a positive significance in accelerating the construction of the Hunan Jiangxi border regional cooperation demonstration area.
