Ya'an Wanzhou High speed Railway is a landmark project of high-quality joint construction of the the Belt and Road between China and Indonesia. With a total length of 142 kilometers and a maximum operating speed of 350 kilometers per hour, the Yawan High-speed Railway connects Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and Bandung, the fourth largest city. It is the first high-speed railway in Southeast Asia, and also the first project of China's high-speed railway to be built overseas with a full system, full elements and full industrial chain.

After the completion of the project, the travel time from Jakarta to Bandung will be reduced from more than 3 hours to 40 minutes. Zhang Degui, an Indonesian youth, is currently a translator in the Yawan High-speed Railway Project Department of the China Express. During his study in China, Zhang Degui has travelled on the high-speed railway many times, and has formed an indissoluble bond with China's high-speed railway.Editor/Ma Xue
