Project overview
The project is located in Gaoyang Town, Yunyang County, Chongqing, 350 kilometers away from the road mileage of Chongqing. The upper reservoir of the power station is located in Shiheyan Reservoir between Guilin Village and Jinhui Village in Gaoyang Town, and the lower reservoir is located in Shuanghekou Reservoir between Jianquan Village and Haiba Village in Gaoyang Town. The straight-line distance between the upper and lower reservoir dam sites is about 2.5 kilometers. There is a highway between the upper and lower reservoirs, which is convenient for transportation and advantageous in geographical location. The project is 45 kilometers away from Wanzhou, the second load center of Chongqing, and 50 kilometers away from Wanzhou substation.
Yunyang Jianquan Pumped Storage Power Station Project has a total investment of 9.1 billion yuan and a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts. The hub buildings mainly include the upper reservoir, the water conveyance system, the power generation system and the lower reservoir. The rated head is 332.0 meters. It is a first-class large (1) project. The power supply scope of the power station is Chongqing power grid, which undertakes the functions of peak shaving, valley filling, energy storage, frequency modulation, phase modulation and emergency standby of Chongqing power system. After completion and put into operation, it can save 256000 tons of standard coal for power generation, reduce 65000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions and 16000 tons of sulfur dioxide, and provide 1200 megawatts of regulated power supply for Chongqing power grid and Northeast Chongqing, providing double peak shaving capacity, effectively alleviating the gap of power capacity and peak shaving capacity in Northeast Chongqing and Chongqing in the medium and long term in the future. The 10th Hydropower Bureau is mainly responsible for the installation of civil engineering and some metal structures and electromechanical equipment, such as the lower reservoir dam, the lower reservoir diversion tunnel, the vertical shaft spillway tunnel, the flood release tunnel, the 1 # waste slag intermediate transfer, the 2 # waste slag intermediate transfer, ③, ④ permanent roads (part), 13 #, 14 #, 15 # and 16 # construction roads.
