Etihad Cargo and Astral Aviation have signed a memorandum of understanding to expand their partnership and expand the airline's presence in the African market.

SLA is the carrier's first pharmaceutical intermodal agreement, ensuring that the carrier's partners fully comply with the latest IATA pharmaceutical and GDP regulations and standards. This latest agreement builds on Astral Aviation's expanding partnership with Abu Dhabi, which will operate more flights to the UAE capital with the support of Etihad Cargo.
Under the agreement, Astral Aviation and Etihad Cargo will share 50% of all available capacity on the new Nairobi-Abu Dhabi-Nairobi flight, increasing the Abu Dhabi-based airline's offering to air cargo and airmail customers Capacity.
Etihad Cargo will also use its extensive network of road feeder services to move Abu Dhabi-arriving cargo from Nairobi to destinations and other off-line points across the UAE.
