On February 11, 2023, the Joint Office for Promoting the Construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Double-City Economic Circle officially issued the List of Major Projects for the Construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Double-City Economic Circle in 2023, which included 248 landmark major projects with a total investment of 325 trillion yuan and a planned investment of 339.53 billion yuan in 2023.

The project covers seven key areas, including modern infrastructure, modern industry, scientific and technological innovation, cultural tourism, ecological barriers, opening up, and public services.

Among them, 90 modern infrastructure network projects were jointly constructed, with a total investment of 238 trillion yuan and an annual planned investment of 220.9 billion yuan; There are 81 projects to build a modern industrial system, with a total investment of 586.2 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 80.45 billion yuan; 27 scientific and technological innovation center projects were jointly built, with a total investment of 67.17 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 12.03 billion yuan; There are 21 projects of Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor, with a total investment of 105.26 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 11.41 billion yuan; There are 13 ecological barrier construction projects with a total investment of 34.03 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 3.7 billion yuan; There are 6 open projects with a total investment of 22.86 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 2.14 billion yuan; There are 10 public service projects with a total investment of 56.72 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 9.71 billion yuan.
