Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-speed Railway is located in Guangdong Province. The line starts from the Guangzhou hub station, passes through Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhaoqing, Yunfu, Yangjiang, Maoming, Zhanjiang and other cities along the way, and ends at the planned Zhanjiang North Station. The total length of the line is about 401 km, and the design speed is 350 km/h.

The airport section of the Pearl River Delta hub of Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway, from the end of Xijiang Bridge to Xinxing South Station, is located in Foshan, Zhaoqing and Yunfu, Guangdong Province, with a new main line of 78.781 kilometers. There are two stations in the Pearl River Delta hub airport and Xinxing South; 72 bridges, 42.42 km in total; There are 20 tunnels with a total length of 23.93 kilometers. The construction period is 3 years, and it will be completed and opened simultaneously with the whole line. After the completion of Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-speed Railway, the commute time from Guangzhou to Zhanjiang will be reduced to 90 minutes, which will greatly improve the travel conditions of people in western Guangdong and play an important role in promoting the economic and social development of the regions along the line and the coordinated development of the whole province.

The airport section of the Pearl River Delta hub under construction starts from the end of the Xijiang Bridge of the Foshan Grand Bridge, passes through the Lingyunshan Tunnel to the location of the Pearl River Delta hub airport, and then enters Xinxing County of Yunfu City through Genghe Town, Gaoming District. The new line length of the main line is 78.781km, and the Pearl River Delta hub airport and Xinxing South 2 stations are newly built. The main control projects are Lingyunshan Tunnel and Pearl River Delta Airport Station.
