Recently, as the last set of wires steadily arrived at the traction field, the Gansu to Zhejiang ± 800 kV high-voltage direct current transmission project, Gansu Section 4, achieved full line connection on the 16th. This project is a key project of the national West East power transmission strategy. After completion, it can transport over 36 billion kilowatt hours of clean electricity from Gansu to Zhejiang every year, with new energy consumption accounting for over 21 billion kilowatt hours.
