[Cambodia's first high-speed rail to enlist China's support] Recently, Prime Minister Hun Sen of the Kingdom of Cambodia paid a state visit to China. Hun Sen discussed a series of infrastructure construction projects with China, and planned to win China's support for its first high-speed rail project. Cambodia's first high-speed railway has a total length of 382 kilometers and a planned cost of US$4 billion. • Recently, CEEC won the bid for the Xinjiang Shache 200 MW/1200 MW grid type independent energy storage project, which is the first 6-hour long grid energy storage demonstration project in southern Xinjiang. The project is equipped with a 220 kV booster station, which can consume approximately 110 million kilowatt hours of abandoned photovoltaic power annually after commissioning, supporting the integration of local new energy bases into the grid.
