On February 11, 2023, the Valencia New Station Project of the Chilean Railway Administration announced the final result of the award. The Chilean branch stood out from the competition with well-known international contractors from Spain and Chile, and successfully won the bid for the project, announcing the official start of a new journey for the Chilean branch in the Chilean railway construction market.

The project is located in the Kilpuai district of the Valparaiso region in central Chile, 2.5 kilometers from the urban area, 20 kilometers from the port of Valparaiso, and about 100 kilometers from the capital Santiago. Including all the work of the construction of the new station, involving all civil works of the main building of the station, about 1289.11 square meters, railway track extension, decoration, power installation, communication system, etc.

It is understood that the Chilean branch has successively won the bids for the civil engineering project of the extension line 3 of the Santiago Metro Line 2, the station bid project of the Santiago Metro Line 2 extension line, and the bids 2 and 3 of the Santiago Metro Line 7 within less than five years. Winning the bid for the Valencia new station bid project of the Chilean Railway Bureau has important strategic significance for the operation of the China Railway Tunnel Bureau in the Chilean market and even the South American market.
