On February 13, 2023, a reporter from Jiandao.com learned from the public service platform of Guangzhou Public Resources Trading that the "Announcement on Bidding for the Construction of the New Meizhou-Longchuan Railway Station Building and Related Projects" was officially released. Construction of the two newly-built high-speed railway stations of Xingningnan and Wuhua on the Guangdong Meilong High-speed Railway will officially start at the end of March 2023 and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2024.

Project Overview

The newly built Meizhou-Longchuan Railway Project is located in the eastern part of Guangdong Province. The line is drawn from Meizhou West Station of the Meishan High-speed Railway. Station, roughly in an east-west direction, the new main line has a total length of 93.986km.

Newly established Xingning South Station and Wuhua Station along the line. The new Jiangxi-Shenzhen high-speed railway connection line is drawn from the Xingfu Village line and connected with the Longchuan West line of the Jiangxi-Shenzhen high-speed railway. The project is connected with the existing Meishan high-speed railway in the east and connected with the Jiangxi-Shenzhen high-speed railway under construction in the west. It is an integral part of the Guanghe-Mei channel.

Xingning South Station is a newly built station of Meilong Railway. The mileage of the center of the station building is DK31+470, and the positive and negative zero elevation is 110.150m. It is an underground station building. The scale of the station's yard is 2 sets of 5 lines, the elevation of the track top is 115.281m, there is one basic platform of 450X8.0X1.25m, one island-type intermediate platform of 450X12.0X1.25m, and one tunnel for passengers entering and leaving the station with a width of 12m.

The building area of Xingning South Railway Station is 9999.58㎡, including 190.08㎡ underground and 9809.50㎡ above ground. This project has a partial underground floor; a main floor above the ground, and a partial second floor.

Wuhua Station is a newly built station of Meilong Railway. The mileage of the center of the station building is DK49+085, and the positive and negative elevations are 132.060m. The scale of the station’s yard is 2 sets of 5 lines, with a track top elevation of 130.510m, a basic platform of 450X8.0X1.25m, an island-type intermediate platform of 450X12.0X1.25m, and a tunnel for passengers entering and leaving the station with a width of 12m.

The building area of Wuhua Station is 9998.78㎡, including 190.08㎡ underground and 9808.70㎡ above ground. This project has a partial underground floor; a main floor above the ground, and a partial second floor.

The total construction area of the non-four power production supporting houses is 15234.42㎡, and the main buildings are:

(1) Meizhou West Railway Station: dispatch room and comprehensive apartment, comprehensive workshop office building, comprehensive workshop staff dormitory and canteen, material shed;

(2) Xingning South Station: Public Security Police Station and Criminal Police Squadron, Water Supply Station, Office Building of Comprehensive Work Area, Staff Dormitory of Comprehensive Work Area, Track Garage of Comprehensive Work Area, Gatekeeper of Comprehensive Work Area, Oil Storage Room of Comprehensive Work Area, Auto Garage of Comprehensive Work Area;

(3) Wuhua Station: water supply station, police area;

(4) Sections: water source well pump room, section police area.

Bidding scope

Chapter 7 Electric power and electric traction power supply within the scope of construction drawings of the new Meizhou-Longchuan railway project: production and living houses, other electric power, electric power telecontrol and comprehensive automation; Chapter 8 houses: passenger station buildings and related projects, production houses, production Ancillary buildings, construction equipment, and ancillary housing projects; Chapter IX Other operating production equipment and buildings: passenger station platform, passenger tunnel, canopy and related projects, water supply and drainage projects; Chapter XI safety production fees, housing engineering karst note Pulp, etc.

Division of tenders: This construction is planned to be divided into one tender: MLSG-8.

MLSG-8 standard: Xingning South Station, Wuhua Station building and related projects, production and living houses and ancillary projects (excluding four power houses and public security boxes).
