The feasibility study report on the Chengdu-Deyang line project of the Sichuan urban (suburban) railway was approved by the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, marking that the urban (suburban) railway Chengdu-Deyang line (hereinafter referred to as "S11 line") project will enter the stage of full-scale construction .
Line S11 is an important strategic project to accelerate the integrated development of the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, build a high-efficiency and high-level dual-city economic circle, and improve the core energy level of the Chengdu metropolitan area. The main line of the S11 line connects the urban areas of Chengdu and Deyang, and connects the North Railway Station group, Fenghuangshan group, North Commercial City group, Xinjunma group, Mengyang New Town, Guanghan Xiangyang group, Sanxingdui group, and Deyang Tianfu Jingcheng group in Chengdu. It starts at Weijianian Station, transfers with Line 1, Line 5, Line 9, Line 18, Line 27, Line 28, Line 32, and Line S1, and ends at Deyang North Station. The line is mainly laid from south to north along Beixing Avenue, Chengde Avenue, Tianfu Avenue North Extension (under construction), Honghu Road and Taishan Road, in a south-northeast direction.
The total length of the S11 line project is about 70.845 kilometers, of which the length in Chengdu is about 30.619 kilometers, and the length in Deyang is about 40.226 kilometers; the design maximum speed is 160km/h; the whole line has a total of Weijianian Station, Fengtai 3rd Road Station and Youyi Station , Dujianian Station, International Trade City Station, Banzhuyuan Station, Majia Station, Mengyang Station, Sanxingdui Station, Tianfu Jingcheng Station, Deyang South Station, Sichuan Jianyuan Station, Wuzhou Square Station, Confucian Temple Square Station, Deyang North There are 15 stations (all with tentative names), including 5 elevated stations and 10 underground stations.
