It is planned to further supplement and improve the composition of the rail transit network in Changsha on the basis of the adjustment of the construction plan of the third phase. Changsha Metro Line 8

The line is laid out along Changwang Road-Fuyuan Road-Jinxiu Road-Huahou Road-Xiangfu Road-West Second Ring Road-Jinxing Avenue. It connects important urban nodes such as the municipal government, financial center, Golden Eagle Film and Television City, East Bus Station, South High-speed Railway Station, Provincial Government, and Hexi University Town.
