At the research symposium, Lian Bing listened to the company's party secretary and chairman Cheng Rui's report on the progress of the expansion project planning and approval, water resources demonstration and other preliminary work, and communicated with the participants on the difficulties and problems in the expansion project.

Lian Bing emphasized that in recent years, Zhangye Power Generation Company has conscientiously fulfilled its main corporate responsibility, done a lot of work in energy conservation and emission reduction, waste gas and wastewater treatment, and made important contributions to regional ecological environment protection and economic and social development. The 2×1000MW coal-fired unit expansion project of Zhangye Power Plant is a major provincial construction project in 2023, and the provincial party committee and government are highly concerned. In the next step, the company will continue to study and implement Xi Jinping's thought on ecological civilization, firmly establish the awareness of environmental protection red lines, and coordinate the promotion of high-quality construction of projects and high-level protection of the ecological environment.
