Recently, State Power Investment Beijing Company Yuelong Phase II 50 MW wind power project held a groundbreaking ceremony. Located in Ninghe District, Tianjin, the project will install 10 5.0 MW wind turbines, which will be connected to the new 220 kV substation through a 220 kV transmission line of about 35 km. The estimated annual on-grid capacity is 119,500 MWH and the annual equivalent utilization hours are 2390 hours.

Among the projects with the same installed capacity, this project reduces the land occupancy and land acquisition cost, and reduces the later equipment maintenance cost. It is a high-quality clean energy project to achieve low-carbon environmental protection and green development. After the project is put into operation, it can save 37,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 100,000 tons of carbon dioxide every year. Editor/Xu Shengpeng
