Recently, the Ministry of Transport and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transport jointly organized a preliminary design review site in Dongguan City for the reconstruction and expansion projects of the Changping-Humen section of the Yongguan-Dongguan-Foshan Expressway and the Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway Tangxia-Dongcheng section of the Pearl River Delta Ring Road This marks an important phased progress in the project design work.

Experts and representatives present at the meeting conducted on-the-spot surveys and full communication and discussions along the line, and believed that the overall design ideas of the two projects are clear, the data are complete, and they meet the depth requirements of the preliminary design.

The starting point of the renovation and expansion project of the Tangxia-Dongcheng section of the Pearl River Delta Ring Road from Dongguan to Shenzhen Expressway is located in Tangxia Town, Dongguan City, and the end point is located near the Guanlong Interchange. The total length of the route is about 46.6 kilometers. It is a two-way ten to twelve lanes with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. Reconstruction and expansion of Daping, Tangxia Junction, Huangjiang, Dayouyuan Junction, Dalang, Shida, Liaobu Junction, Management Center, Shangtun, Guanzhang, Guanlong There are 11 interchanges.
