Former Egyptian Prime Minister Issam Sharaf has visited China more than 30 times, covering more than ten provinces, autonomous regions and cities in China. When the Belt and Road Initiative was proposed in 2013, Sharaf gave the first lecture on the Silk Road at the invitation of China. Through the Belt and Road Initiative, in the past ten years, China and Arab countries have established 17 cooperation mechanisms and implemented more than 200 cooperation projects in various fields. At the same time, China has built about 6,000 kilometers of railways, about 80 power supply stations, and about 130 hospitals in Africa through aid projects. , and other technical facilities.
