On March 15, 2023, the centralized commencement of major projects was held in Tianmen City, Hubei Province in March. It is reported that 17 projects, such as aerospace lithium battery and Shengao clothing, have started with a total investment of 7.54 billion yuan.

Aerospace lithium battery phase I project

In January 2023, the aerospace lithium battery 50GWh lithium iron phosphate large cylindrical cell and pack integrated industrial base project was signed and settled in Tianmen. On the same day, the first phase of the project was officially started, with a total planned investment of about 4.7 billion yuan, which could achieve the production capacity of 5Gwh cells and 5Gwh battery packs. Wang Yadong, Chairman of Aerospace Lithium Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., said that he would fully promote the construction of the project and strive to put it into operation as soon as possible, so as to contribute to the economic and social development of Tianmen.
