Among them, the Beishawo large-scale photovoltaic + energy storage integration base demonstration project plans to invest 8 billion yuan in Beishawo, Midong District, to build a 375,000-kilowatt energy storage project and a 1.5 million-kilowatt photovoltaic project. The scale of photovoltaics and energy storage is 4:1. After completion, it can effectively promote the renewable utilization of solar energy resources and accelerate the adjustment of local energy and power structure.

The construction of photovoltaic bases has also attracted the landing of photovoltaic industry chain projects. Among them, photovoltaic manufacturing industrial parks and other projects will invest in the construction of a photovoltaic manufacturing industrial park of about 300 mu in Midong District. The signed new energy projects also include the hydro-solar hybrid project Shuimohe pumped-storage power station project, and the Midong pumped-storage power station project will be built to form hydro-solar complementary adjustment capabilities and build a new model for centralized development of clean and renewable energy.
