The Sandaoyuan Pumped Storage Power Station is located in Shapotou District, Zhongwei, Ningxia. The planned installed capacity of the power station is 1.6 million kilowatts. It is planned to install four reversible hydroelectric generating units with a single unit capacity of 400,000 kilowatts. The rated flow rate is 78.50 cubic meters per second. The drop is 485 meters, and the adjusted storage capacity is 7.74 million cubic meters.
