Recently, the People's Government of Qingyuan District, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province and Jiangxi Port Group signed a joint venture agreement on the construction of a comprehensive wharf project in the Tianyu Operation Area in the central urban area of Ji'an Port. The signing ceremony of the Jigangtong Comprehensive Logistics Park project was held simultaneously. The total amount is 5 billion yuan.

Wharf works

Among them, the total investment of the comprehensive wharf project in the Tianyu Operation Area in the central urban area of Ji’an Port is 3 billion yuan. The project is located on the right bank of the Ganjiang River in Tianyu Town, Qingyuan District, Ji’an City. Upstream, the new Jinggangshan Bridge is about 850m long, with a planned coastline of 1150m. It is planned to build 12 1,000-ton berths (4 container berths, 3 multi-purpose berths and 5 general-purpose berths), with a designed annual passing capacity of 4.05 million tons + 250,000 TEU .

The first-phase investment is estimated at 800 million yuan to build three 1,000-ton berths and corresponding supporting facilities, including two general-purpose berths and one multi-purpose berth, occupying a shoreline length of 300m and a total area of 330 mu. The design year passed The capacity is 1.55 million tons/year, and the container is 30,000 TEU/year.

The project is the largest comprehensive cargo terminal with the largest scale, the highest investment and the most complete functions in Ji'an Port so far. It will mainly transport coal, mining construction materials, grain and suitable container goods. Editor/He Yuting
