On March 28, 2023, a reporter from Jiandao.com learned from the Shanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission that recently, five special railway lines in Shanxi Province have been approved, which are located in Yuanping City, Jiexiu City, Qinshui County and Gaoping City.

Yuanping City Tianbang Industry and Trade Company Railway Special Line Project

Project construction scale and standards: The main line of the dedicated line is 1.668 kilometers long, connecting from the Taiyuan throat of Daniudian Station of Beitongpu Railway. The throat is adaptively transformed and a pull-out line is added with an effective length of 850 meters. After the junction and fork, the existing high platform will be bypassed by a curve with a radius of 300 meters to the west, and a loading station will be set up parallel to the North Tongpu Railway to the north. There are 2 delivery and cargo lines at the loading station, with an effective length of 1,050 meters; 1 machine routing line and 1 machine standby line, with effective lengths of 968 and 115 meters respectively.

Number of positive lines: single line. Minimum curve radius: 300 meters. Restricted slope: 6/13‰. Traction Type: Electric. Locomotive type: SS4, HXD series. Traction mass: 5000 tons. Effective length to hair line: 1050 meters. The estimated total investment of the project is 350 million yuan.

Jiexiu Ruihuida Energy Company Zhanglan Railway Special Line Project

Project construction scale and technical standards: Jiexiu Ruihuida Energy Co., Ltd. Zhanglan Railway Special Line connects from the west side of the Taiyuan throat of Zhanglan Station, and sets a safety line at the junction, and then goes north to the west side of the South Tongpuzheng Line The loading station is arranged, and the total length of the line is 1.739 kilometers.

Number of positive lines: single line; limited slope: 6‰; minimum curve radius: 400 meters. Traction type: electric; Locomotive type: SS4; Traction mass: 5000 tons. Effective length of loading line: 1050 meters. It is designed to send 1.5 million tons/year in the short term and 2.8 million tons/year in the long term. The estimated total investment of the project is 728 million yuan.

Shanxi Coal East Dazhengzhuang Special Railway and China Coal Libi Coal Mine Railway Special Line

Project construction scale: The main line of Jinmei East Dazhengzhuang Railway and China Coal Huajin Group Jincheng Energy Co., Ltd. Libi Coal Mine Railway has a total length of 20.874 kilometers. The special line is 7.715 kilometers. The reconstruction of the connecting station and the parallel sections of the two railways are jointly constructed by both parties.

Line direction: The line is jointly drawn from the Houmaduan throat of Zhengzhuang Station of Houyue Railway, and the handover station is arranged on the north side of Zhengzhuang Station of Houyue Railway and the mountainous area on the south side of Gaoqin Expressway. The line length is 1.713 kilometers. The empty train decommissioning line is drawn from the south side of the Houmaduan throat of Zhengzhuang Station. After crossing the Houyue Railway, a turning curve is set, and it is connected to the handover station in the form of a continuous tunnel. The line length is 3.614 kilometers.

The line from the handover station to Zhengzhuang Mine and Dongda Mine section is drawn from the east end of the handover station. A super-large bridge is set up to cross the Qinxi Cement Factory on the northwest side of Hetou Village, and after crossing the Gaoqin Expressway, Zhengzhuang Mine Industrial Plaza is arranged on the south side of Zhengzhuang Mine Industry Square. Zhuang Mining Station, the line length is 2.8 kilometers. Then the line leaves Zhengzhuang Mining Loading Station and turns westward across the Qinhe River and the Linchang CBM pipeline. It passes through the main line of Zhangfeng Reservoir in the form of a tunnel in the south and then turns east to arrange Dongda Mining Loading Station. The line length is 5.032 kilometers.

The Libi special line is drawn from the south side of the Houmaduan throat of Zhengzhuang Station. After running 1 km along the parallel empty train line on the south side of the Houyue Railway, the line turns south and continuously crosses the Quhui Line and Qinshui River, then turns west After setting up a long tunnel, set up a Libi ore loading station on the south side of the Qinshui River and the east side of the Industrial Square. The coal conveying system adopts tubular belt conveyor with a length of 1.83 kilometers.

Shanxi Coal East Dazhengzhuang Special Railway Technical Standards:Number of main lines: single track; restricted slope: 13‰ from Zhengzhuang station to transfer station, 6‰ from transfer station to loading station for heavy vehicles/9‰ for empty vehicles; minimum curve radius: 300 meters. Type of traction: electric power from Zhengzhuang station to handover station, internal combustion from handover station to loading station; Traction mass: 5000 tons. Effective length of arrival and departure lines: Zhengzhuang Station, transfer station 1080 meters, loading station 1050 meters. Design annual shipping volume: 9 million tons/year in the short term and 15 million tons/year in the long term.

China Coal Libi Coal Mine Railway Special Line Technical Standards:Number of positive lines: single line; limited slope: 13‰; minimum curve radius: 300 meters. Traction type: electric; Traction mass: 5000 tons; Effective length of arrival and departure line: 1080 meters. Design annual shipping volume: 4.9 million tons/year in the near and long term. The estimated total investment of the project is 3.928 billion yuan.

Gaoping West Special Railway Project

The construction site of Gaoping West Special Railway Project is located in Gaoping City, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province. 1 new deconstruction line, 1 transfer yard, and 1 Kexing loading station; 8.583 kilometers of Nanyang special railway, 7.933 kilometers of Dongfeng special railway, and 6.052 kilometers of Goudi special railway were newly built; the signal system of Nanchenpu station and stone ballast yard was reconstructed ; Newly build the Nanyang Yechuan loading station, Dongfengqian and loading station storage and transportation systems, etc. The whole line has 55.88 kilometers of track laying, 3 new super bridges of 3986.7 meters, 1 new bridge of 261.6 meters, 1 middle bridge of 57.5 meters, 6 highway bridges of 3234 meters, 1 tunnel of 1155 meters, and 25330 square meters of houses.

The special railway part sends 4.8 million tons of coal in the initial stage, and the short-term and long-term are both 9.8 million tons/year; the short-term and long-term coal delivery of the Kexing loading station part is 5 million tons/year. The estimated total investment of the project is 3.99 billion yuan.

Guodian Power Datong Hudong Power Plant Railway Special Line

The construction site of the 2×1000MW Datong Hudong Power Plant project dedicated to the railway line project is located in Yungang District, Pingcheng District and Yunzhou District of Datong City. The special railway line is drawn from the east throat of Maxinzhuang Station on the Daqin Line in the form of an overpass. It runs parallel to the Daqin Railway for a section and then wraps around the Daqin Railway. After crossing the Yuhe River, it turns to the Datong Hudong Power Plant to set up an unloading station. The length of the main line of the special line is 8.34 kilometers, and a new decommissioning line is newly built at the same time, which is about 3.94 kilometers long. The unloading station adopts a horizontal arrangement, with 2 heavy vehicle lines, 2 empty vehicle lines, and 1 machine line.
