On March 31, 2023, Energy China International Group and Spain's Aora New Energy signed a business contract for the 235MW wind power project in Tulip, Mexico, achieving a new breakthrough in Mexico's new energy business.

The project is located in the state of Durango in northern Mexico. The project includes the design, procurement, construction and construction of related supporting facilities for a 235MW wind power plant. After the completion of the project, it will provide Durango State with stable and clean electric energy, effectively reducing local electricity costs.

Mexico is Energy China's core country market in the Americas region. In recent years, it has signed more than 10 billion yuan of contracts, and the projects involve trade, infrastructure, energy, oil and gas and other fields.
