The Ovoot Tolgoi Coal Mine Project is located in the southern part of Mongolia, in Gurbanstersum, South Gobi Province. The project is 255 kilometers southwest of the capital of South Gobi Province and 45 kilometers away from the China-Mongzeke border port. At present, the coal in the mining area is mainly coking coal and semi-soft coking coal. The proven reserves are 80.43 million tons, the controlled reserves are 17.29 million tons, and the estimated reserves are 1.75 million tons, totaling 99.47 million tons.
