On April 6, 2023, the first Zhangshi-Europe Railway Express departed from Wanquan West Station in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, and sailed to Moscow, the capital of Russia, after passing through the Shijiazhuang International Land Port. This is Zhangjiakou's first China-Europe train, opening up a new efficient land channel for economic and trade exchanges between Zhangjiakou and Europe.

Zhangshiou is an international freight train jointly organized and operated by Zhangjiakou and Shijiazhuang. The first train is fully loaded with 110 standard containers, loaded with export commodities such as auto parts, weighing more than 430 tons, and worth more than 24 million yuan. It departs from Erlianhot Port by China-Europe Express and is expected to arrive in Moscow in 14 days.

In recent years, as a major commercial center in the north and an important node city in the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, Zhangjiakou's characteristic industries have grown steadily, and its import and export value has increased year by year. With the help of the hub and channel advantages of the normalized operation of the Shijiazhuang International Land Port, Zhangjiakou provides local and Northwest Hebei provides new options for international logistics channels.

Song Limin, vice chairman of Hebei Lugang Construction Group Co., Ltd., said that the opening of Zhang Shiou will become a through train to promote advantageous industries to the international market and serve as an "accelerator" for the development of the export-oriented economy of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.

Shijiazhuang International Land Port focuses on the establishment of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei China-Europe Railway Express assembly center, and continuously improves the + Shi-Europe link capability.
