Recently, the preliminary design of the first phase project of Rail Transit Line 6 in Nanning, Guangxi was officially approved.
It is understood that the first phase of Nanning Rail Transit Line 6 starts from Sanjin Avenue in the west, and is mainly laid along South China Avenue, Wuyi Road, Taoyuan Road, Shuangyong Road, Yuexiu Road, Guiya Road, Minzu Avenue, and Xianhu Avenue in the east. To Tianchi Mountain, the total length is 27.9 kilometers, all of which are underground. A total of 21 stations are set up, including 11 transfer stations. It shares the control center with Line 1, shares the main substation with Line 3 and Line 5, and has Sanjin depot and Pangu Road parking lot.
The vehicles are composed of 6 B-type vehicles, with a maximum running speed of 80 kilometers per hour, and a DC 1500-volt overhead catenary power supply. Initially, 27 trains/162 vehicles will be assigned. In the initial stage, a single traffic road will be adopted, and in the short and long term, the operation mode of large and small traffic roads will be adopted. The number of pairs of departures in peak hours will be 12 pairs, 21 pairs and 27 pairs respectively. The engineering mechanical and electrical equipment configuration plan shall be implemented according to the plan determined after consultation and evaluation.
The estimated investment for the first phase of Nanning Rail Transit Line 6 is 20.129 billion yuan, of which 13.966 billion yuan is direct engineering investment. The project capital is 8.052 billion yuan, accounting for 40% of the total investment, financed by Nanning City. Funds other than capital funds shall be raised by the project unit through multiple channels such as bank loans.
