Recently, the joint venture between SHANXI CIG and Shanxi Water Engineering Bureau held a signing ceremony with the Armenian Territorial Development Foundation, and officially signed the contract for the construction project of the Armenian Kapus Dam and its auxiliary structures, marking that the project has officially entered the construction implementation stage. Zhao Cen, deputy manager of SHANXI CIG International Fifth Engineering Company, Wang Zhuqiang, deputy manager and chief engineer of Shanxi Water Engineering Bureau No. 1 Branch, signed on behalf of the joint venture, and Ashot Khachatryan, deputy director of the Armenian Territorial Development Foundation, presided over and signed on behalf of the owner.

Sargis Baghinyan, executive director of the Armenian Territorial Development Foundation, listened to the work report of the consortium team at the scene, and affirmed the fruitful efforts made by SHANXI CIG. He pointed out that the Kapus dam project is of great significance to Armenia, especially in terms of environmental protection and economy.

The SHANXI CIG team expressed gratitude to the owner for their trust and support, and expressed that they would start the project construction as soon as possible, complete the Kapus Dam project on schedule and with high quality, and contribute to the social and economic development of Armenia.
