Recently, the feasibility study report of Cambodia's Steng Mae Teng cascade hydropower station surveyed and designed by the Beijing Institute of Power China successfully passed the review, which laid a solid foundation for the full launch of the main project of the project and the orderly progress of subsequent work.

Stenmeiden Cascade Hydropower Station

According to reports, the Steng Mae Teng Cascade Hydropower Station is located in the northwest of the provincial capital of Koh Kong Province, Cambodia. It is developed in three stages, with a total installed capacity of 150 megawatts and an annual power generation of 489 million kWh. The first-level power station adopts a concrete face rockfill dam, a spillway on the right bank, a water diversion system on the left bank, and a hub layout plan on the ground. The storage capacity below the normal water storage level is 719 million cubic meters, which is an annual regulating reservoir, and the installed capacity is 57 megawatts. The secondary power station consists of barrage dams, water inlets, diversion culverts, diversion tunnels, surge wells, pressure pipelines and ground powerhouses, with an installed capacity of 53 MW. The third-level power station consists of barrage dams, water inlets, diversion tunnels, surge wells, pressure pipelines and ground powerhouses, with an installed capacity of 40 MW.

Looking back on the process of the feasibility study of the Sten Mee Teng Cascade Hydropower Station, the Beijing Institute has been in close communication with the Cambodian side, overcame the impact of the epidemic, and actively promoted the progress of the project. At the same time, relying on years of experience in Cambodia, he proposed a detailed work plan and implementation plan, which was highly recognized by the owner. In the end, the front and rear staff worked together to complete all the feasibility studies.

The feasibility study report of the Stern Mee Teng Cascade Hydropower Station in Cambodia successfully passed the review, which fully demonstrates the technical strength and commercial reputation of the Beijing Institute, and is of great significance to the overseas market development of the Beijing Institute.
