On April 25, 2023, Japan's KHI and China's SHANDONG HEAVY INDUSTRY GROUP held a symposium at the Kawasaki Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. The two sides reached a consensus on further expanding the field of strategic cooperation. Tan Xuguang, chairman of SHANDONG HEAVY INDUSTRY GROUP, and KHI president Yasuhiko Hashimoto attended the event.

Tan Xuguang said that KHI and SHANDONG HEAVY INDUSTRY GROUP have a broad space for cooperation. He hopes that we will open our minds to win the future together, expand strategic cooperation in more fields such as hydrogen energy and robotics, and jointly meet the opportunities of global low-carbon and intelligentization.

Yasuhiko Hashimoto said that the current development of the hydrogen energy industry is becoming more and more popular, which is an important direction of energy transformation in the future.
