Recently, the 4GW wind power project of Inner Mongolia Huadian Tengger Base has been officially approved and approved. It is reported that this project is an external power transmission project, and all the generated electricity is sent to the area for consumption.

It is reported that the site of the 4GW wind power project is located about 53km southwest of Bayanori Gongsumu on the west side of Alxa Left Banner. The terrain of the site is flat and open, with a terrain of Gobi. The region is rich in wind resources, with an annual average wind speed of 6.5m/s to 7.0m/s at a height of 120m. The total installed capacity of this project is 4GW, with a planned investment of 24.7 billion yuan. It is planned to be put into operation by the end of December 2025.

After the completion of the project, it will not only provide power, reduce pollution, save resources, have positive social and environmental significance, but also have the ability to repay debts.
