On April 25, 2023, the Zhejiang Government Procurement Network released the publicity of candidates for the bidding of the partners of the updated comprehensive development project of the Shuangxi West Road area. The consortium formed won the bid, and the estimated price of the project is about 23.67 billion yuan.

Project Overview

The renewal of the Shuangxi West Road area is the largest individual expropriation project in the history of Jinhua Development Zone. The first and second phases will be implemented in 2023, which are east of the Riverside Garden, south of the Jinhua River, west of Bayi South Street, Shuangxi West Road, and Nanyuan. The enclosed area to the north of the road covers an area of about 1284 mu. Involving 837 households with 2,112 people in 3 urban villages of Wuli Pailou, Gaofan, and Laozhangzhai; involving 172 property rights of 58 municipal units such as bus companies and Jinhua No. 8 Middle School; involving 5,006 residential households such as No. 0 Community and Wuxing Community; 906,000 square meters of buildings need to be demolished.
