This marks the official opening of the freight function at the Pupiao Station of the Darui Railway, and the freight capacity in western Yunnan will be greatly improved.

The Dali Railway starts from Dali City in the east and ends in Ruili City in the west, with a total length of 330 kilometers and will be constructed in two sections. The distance between Puzhuo Station of Darui Railway and Baoshan Station is about 20 kilometers, but the section passes through the Baoshan Tunnel with a total length of 16 kilometers.

According to Geng Jianglong, head of laying technology of the Darui Railway Project Department of China Railway No. Special high-risk and complex working conditions such as slope girders have set a record for the construction of a long tunnel and long track paving of 9.5 kilometers per day on the Dali-Rui Railway, laying a solid foundation for the opening of freight business at Pupiao Station.
