The 7 participating projects of China Electric Power Research Institute won 4 gold awards, 2 silver awards and 1 bronze award. Among them, the shock absorbing device project for substation electrical equipment, which won the gold medal, has been applied in the Philippines, Chile, Indonesia and other countries. Zhou Zexin, the chief expert of the research institute, told Xinhua that this invention can effectively improve the anti-seismic ability of electrical equipment in strong earthquake areas, which shows the role of Chinese inventions.
The intelligent detection technology of effluent water quality in the urban sewage treatment process and the intelligent optimization control technology of the urban sewage treatment process developed by the Environmental Protection Automation Team of Beijing University of Technology won the Gold Award and the Silver Award respectively. Meng Xi, an associate professor at Beijing University of Technology, told reporters that the purpose of participating in the exhibition is to promote China's pollution prevention and control solutions to the world.
