On May 5, 2023, Tan Xuguang held a working discussion with Li Daokui, Dean of the China Institute of Economic Thought and Practice of Tsinghua University, and his team in Weifang Weichai Industrial Park to discuss the development of the hydrogen energy and methanol engine industry chain.

Li Daokui said that Weichai, as a leading company in China's power field, is an indispensable vanguard for the country's energy transformation and the realization of dual carbon goals. The purpose of this survey is to give full play to Weichai's technological advantages, and to study and discuss specific industrial development routes and action plan suggestions around the development of my country's hydrogen energy and methanol engine industry chain.
