The Kurgan Water Conservancy Project is one of the 150 major water conservancy projects deployed and implemented by the State Council, and it is also the only controlling pivot project on the Kushan River. The project is located in Aketao County, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, with a total investment of 1.705 billion yuan and a construction period of 48 months.
