Recently, CREC East Africa Company signed three new overseas engineering projects, making positive contributions to the improvement of Tanzania's infrastructure.

Arusha Permanent African Court of Human Rights Project

On May 5, 2023, CREC East Africa Company formally signed the project of the Permanent African Human Rights Court in Arusha, Tanzania. Zhao Yufeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the East Africa Company, and Zhang Cuishan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee and Chairman of the Labor Union attended the project signing ceremony. On behalf of East Africa Company, General Manager Zhao Yufeng signed the contract with Dr. Samwel W. Shelukindo, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East Africa Cooperation of Tanzania.

The project is located in Arusha, Tanzania. The main construction content includes the main court building, conference building, medical service building, restaurant, basketball court, volleyball hall, outdoor parking lot, outdoor landscape, etc. The total construction area is about 36,000 square meters. The main building of the court There are 2 floors underground, 5 floors above ground, and a building height of 27m. The contract scope includes civil engineering, installation engineering, electromechanical engineering, and outdoor engineering.

Zanzibar Kiyanwani Bus Station Design and Construction Project

Recently, CREC East Africa Company formally signed the contract for the design and construction project of the Kiyanwani bus station in Zanzibar, Tanzania. KHALID S. MOHAMED, Minister of Infrastructure of Sang Island, and RASHID MSARAKA, District Mayor of Sang Island, attended the project signing ceremony. Xu Cheng, the general manager and deputy secretary of the Tanzanian branch of the East Africa Company, signed a contract with Nassor Shabani Ameir, the general manager of the Sangdao Social Security Foundation.

The Zanzibar Kiyanwani bus station design and construction project is located in the Kiyangwani area of Sang Island, covering an area of about 14,640 square meters. The main construction contents include 128 shops, 7 waiting tables, 39 bus parking spots and There are 4645 square meters of outdoor roads, and it is also equipped with offices, control rooms, private parking spaces and parking areas for two-wheelers.

This project is the first modern large-scale bus station in the Sang Island area. It aims to solve the problems of disordered bus dispatching and parking chaos in the urban area. After completion, it will become a model for similar infrastructure facilities in the local area in the future.

Zanzibar Fumba Container Port Project

A few days ago, CREC East Africa Company signed a contract with Zanzibar Fumba Container Port Project in Tanzania. The project is located in the Fumba area of Sang Island. The main construction content is 32,000m³ of earthwork backfill compaction, 21,207 square meters of 20cm thick concrete pavement hardening, 235 meters of drainage pipes, 994 meters of walls, and supporting offices, toilets, generator rooms, etc. The contract period is only 3 months, which will greatly test the company's ability to dispatch and organize human resources.Editor/Ma Xue
