Recently, Zhejiang Hangzhou Metro official website released "Hangzhou Urban Rail Transit Line 18 Phase I Project Environmental Impact Assessment Information Publicity" "Hangzhou Urban Rail Transit Line 10 Phase II Project Environmental Impact Assessment Information Publicity" "Hangzhou Urban Rail Transit 4 Publicity of Environmental Impact Assessment Information for Phase III Project of Line No. 3 lines of the Hangzhou Metro Phase 4 started the EIA publicity. According to the project plan, all the lines of Phase 4 of the Hangzhou Metro will start construction in the second quarter.

The fourth phase ushered in the construction of the whole line

The fourth phase of Hangzhou Metro includes the second phase of Line 3, the third phase of Line 4, the second phase of Line 9, the second phase of Line 10, the third phase of Line 10, the first phase of Line 12, the first phase of Line 15, and the first phase of Line 18 The first phase and nine projects including Wuchang Parking Lot of Line 5 have a total length of 152.9 kilometers, a total investment of about 138.791 billion yuan, and a planning period of 2022-2027. Among them, there are 5 extension line projects and 3 new line projects.

Phase II of Line 3: Starting from Xingqiao Station, the terminal of Phase I of Line 3, and ending at Xingguang Street Station, the total length is 7.4 kilometers, the design speed is 80 kilometers per hour, and there are 5 stations. The expected opening time is 2027. It mainly passes through Xingqiao Street, Qiaosi Street, Nanyuan Street, Donghu Street, etc., improving the coverage of the rail transit network in Linping area, and connecting Linping New City, Old City and the main city in series; after completion, it will be in operation with the first phase of Line 3 , to strengthen the connection between the west and northeast of the city and the main city center. At present, the construction of Century Avenue Station, the transfer station of the second phase of Line 3, has started, and it is also the earliest construction of the fourth phase of the subway.

Phase III of Line 4: The west extension section starts from Chihua Street Station (not included) and ends at Yungu Station. The west extension section is 5 kilometers long and has 4 stations. The south extension section starts from Wenyan Station and ends at Puyan Station (not included). The south extension section is 5 kilometers long and has 4 stations. The design speed is 80 kilometers per hour. The expected opening time is the end of December 2027. It can improve travel conditions in densely populated areas such as Wenyan and Zijingang Science and Technology City; improve the direct rail connection in the west and south regions. At the same time, it is connected to the Wisdom Network Valley area in Gongshu District, where there are many companies such as Sina Weibo, Huawei Cloud, Lenovo, etc., and more and more young Internet people gather. It may become the Hangzhou version of "Beijing Line 13" in the future. The third phase of Line 4 has launched civil engineering bidding and preliminary land survey.

Phase II of Line 9: Starting from Long'an Station (not included) and ending at Tangqi Station, with a total length of 10.1 kilometers, a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour, and 7 stations. The expected opening time is the end of June 2027. It mainly passes through Linping Economic and Technological Development Zone and Tangqi area, and will realize the rapid connection between Tangqi, Linping and the main city.

Phase II of Line 10: Starting from Yisheng Road Station (not included) and ending at Renhe South Station, the total length is 5.8 kilometers, the design speed is 80 kilometers per hour, and there are 3 stations. The estimated opening time is 2027. It mainly passes through Renhe Advanced Manufacturing Base and Qianjiang Economic Development Zone to strengthen the rail service in Renhe and the northern part of Liangzhu, and realize its rapid connection with the main cities such as West Lake and Huanglong. Currently, the bidding for civil engineering is in progress.

Phase III of Line 10: The line starts from Renhe South Station and ends at Renhe North Station, with a length of 5 kilometers and 2 stations. It is directly connected to Hangzhou Deqing Intercity Railway. The estimated opening time is 2026.

Phase I of Line 12: The northern section is 24.3 kilometers long and has 14 stations; the southern section is 1.7 kilometers long and has 1 station. The design speed is 100 kilometers per hour. The south extension is from Shuangpu Depot Station to Shuangpu Station (not included), and the north extension is from Xiangshan Station of the Academy of Fine Arts (not included) to Hangzhou West Railway Station. It is expected to be put into trial operation in 2028. It is the strategic north-south artery connecting Hangzhou West Railway Station, Future Science and Technology City, Xiaoheshan Higher Education Park, Zhijiang New City, and Shuangpu New District—to realize the direct connection between Zhijiang New City and the West Science and Technology Corridor; to realize the future science and technology city area Connected with Zhijiang, Shuangpu and other regions.

The fastest progress of Line 12 is the Haichuangyuan Station, which is transferred to Line 19 (Airport Rail Express). The main structure of this station has been capped, and the follow-up will provide a strong guarantee for the convenient passage of the surrounding Hangzhou Normal University Asian Games venues. .

Phase I of Line 15: The line starts from Xiaoshan Yatai Road Station and ends at Linping Chongxian Station, with a total length of 40.5 kilometers, a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour, and 30 stations. It is planned to open to traffic at the end of September 2028. Line 15 passes through the main urban area of Hangzhou, Qianjiang New City, Qianjiang Century City and other areas, opens up the north-south traffic artery of Gongshu District, and directly connects to the Canal New City section. Especially for Chongxian, residents' travel convenience index is higher. The preparatory work for the project has already started.

The first phase of Line 18: starting from Xiaoshan Yiqiao Station and ending at Linping Century Avenue Station, with a total length of 48 kilometers, a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour, and 19 stations. Completion is expected in 2028. Line 18 is also known as the North-South Express Line. It passes through Linping High-speed Railway Station, Qiaosi, Jiuqiao Commercial City, Central City, East Station Area, Chengzhan, Binjiang City, Baima Lake, Sanjiangkou and Linpu Area. It is a crossing center. The north-south urban express line of the city, after transferring with Line 19 (Airport Rail Express), forms the basic skeleton of the Hangzhou urban express line.
