In Guizhou, known as the "World Bridge Museum" and known as the "Earth Crack" in the Huajiang Grand Canyon, the construction of the "world's tallest bridge" - the Huajiang Canyon Bridge on the Lu'an Expressway is underway. "Since March, the average 'length' of No. 5 main tower has been 0.8 meters per day, far exceeding the average 'length' of 0.6 meters for conventional steel truss suspension bridge. It is the fastest 'length' of suspension bridge in domestic mountain bridge construction." Liu Shengtao, executive deputy chief engineer of Liuzhi – Anlong Expressway Lot 7, said. As is well known, the construction of the main tower of a bridge is often the "hardest nut to crack", especially in the Huajiang Canyon Bridge project. Due to the influence of canyon winds, the wind field here is complex, and the maximum monitored wind speed is 12 levels. The No. 5 main tower is the highest cable tower of the Huajiang Canyon Bridge, with a height of 262 meters, equivalent to the height of 80 multi-story buildings. Hoisting construction here requires extremely high performance of the tower crane. The 5th and 6th main towers face each other across the gorge, with towering columns towering on the cliffs. The Beipan River under the bridge lies like a blue ribbon in the embrace of the Grand Canyon.

It is understood that the Huajiang Canyon Bridge is a key control project of the Lu'an Expressway, with a vertical height of 625 meters between the bridge deck and the water surface. After completion, it will break the world record for the vertical height of the mountain bridge deck to the water surface and become the world's tallest bridge.
