The first pair of steel rails for the Hungarian section of the Hungarian section of the Hungarian railway, from Kongmiklos Taush Station to Boster Station, began laying on the 30th. Kongsen Miklos Taush Station is 54 kilometers away from the Hungarian capital Budapest, and is the largest station constructed by the Chinese side of the Hungarian Serbian railway project. Boster Station is the intermediate transition station of Line 150, 62 kilometers away from Budapest. The track laying task for this section is undertaken by China Railway 9th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., with a length of 7.98 kilometers.
The Hungary Serbia Railway is a landmark project of cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, and it is also the docking of China's railway technology and equipment with the European Union's railway interconnection technical specifications. The project has a total length of nearly 350 kilometers, connecting Budapest and the Serbian capital Belgrade, and is financed by the China Export Import Bank.
The Hungarian section of the Hungarian Serbian Railway project, which is currently under construction, has a total length of approximately 152 kilometers and is being implemented by a consortium of China Railway No.9 Bureau, China Railway Electrification Bureau, and Hungarian partners. It is planned to be put into operation in July 2025.
