On June 2, 2023, representatives of the governments of China and Argentina signed the "Cooperation Plan between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Argentina on Jointly promoting the Belt and Road" in Beijing.

The Cooperation Plan fully implements the important consensus reached by Chinese and Arab leaders on high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, follows the principle of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, adheres to the concept of open, green and clean, pursues high standards, sustainability and benefits the people, and focuses on policy coordination, infrastructure connectivity, unimpeded trade, financial integration and people-to-people exchanges. Deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in infrastructure, energy, economy, trade, finance, culture and other fields.

The signing of the Cooperation Plan is of great significance to deepening political mutual trust and strategic alignment between the two countries. It will help promote practical cooperation between the two countries in various fields, further deepen and consolidate the Belt and Road cooperation between the two countries, create more cooperation opportunities for enterprises of the two sides and better improve the well-being of the two peoples.Editor/Ma Xue
