The 2023 World Power Battery Conference will be held in Yibin from June 8th to 11th, 2023. During the conference, more than 10 important achievements, including the "Consensus on Global Integrated Development of the Power Battery Industry," were released, with 64 signed projects and a total contract amount of 106.3 billion yuan, comprehensively presenting the latest achievements in the development of the power battery industry.

The 64 projects signed at this conference involve fields such as batteries, energy storage, and positive electrode materials, presenting four major characteristics: high, deep, new, and green. The project has a high gold content, with 10 projects signed for over 5 billion yuan, accounting for nearly 60% of the total investment. All of them are expected to achieve an annual output value of over 180 billion yuan after reaching production capacity; Central local cooperation deepened, the conference held the energy storage development summit forum, and Yibin City signed cooperation agreements with State Power Investment Corporation, etc., which will focus on key links such as source network, load storage, and actively promote the development of various types of Energy storage and diversified application demonstration; With strong innovation empowerment, Yibin City signed six new research and development platform cooperation agreements with Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance, etc., to promote more scientific and technological achievements and high-quality projects to be incubated, transformed and industrialized in Yibin; The green concept is prominent, and 53 green new energy industry projects have been signed.

During the conference, 13 provinces and cities along the Yangtze River, including Sichuan and Shanghai, jointly launched the Electrified Yangtze River Initiative to jointly create demonstration samples of the Electrified Yangtze River; The Equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 2023 power battery industry development index, setting a Weather vane for industrial development.
