The current international situation is uncertain, and regional exchanges and cooperation and common development are all the more important. Recently, on the sidelines of the Astana International Forum, Kyrgyz President Zaparov noted the importance of regional integration and responded to the moderator's question on the advantages of cooperation among Central Asian countries for the whole region to reap economic and environmental dividends.

Zaparov stressed that the Central Asian region is characterized by a great diversity of opportunities and challenges. Rich reserves of natural resources, huge population potential, transit opportunities in the heart of Eurasia create all conditions for joint and mutually beneficial cooperation and development in the region.

Our region is a huge geoeconomic space with huge transport and logistics potential. Here, we are successfully developing various forms of economic cooperation and interaction, including in regional platforms such as the Eurasian Economic Union, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Moreover, all the components of this region complement and reinforce each other. Strategically located at the intersection of civilizations and geopolitical systems, we in Central Asia are a bridge between Asia, Europe and the Middle East. In this context, I would like to highlight the successful operation of the multi-form regional platform of C5+ Russia, China, Japan, South Korea, the United States, the European Union and India, Zaparov said.

We, the representatives of the same peoples of Central Asia, are proud of our common past, of our thousands of years of history and culture. We have a lot in common in traditions and customs; Similarities in mentality, psychology and worldview bring us together. I would call all of this our common asset, a very important competitive advantage. Editor/Xu Shengpeng
