Recently, the East Africa Company of China Railway Construction Engineering Group officially signed the 384 km road project from Handeni to Sinjida in Tanzania. The signing ceremony was held in the Dodoma Hall built by the East Africa Company of China Railway Construction Engineering Group. Project Overview

The project has a total length of 384 kilometers and passes through cities such as Handney, Kiberash, Kijonggu, Njoro, and Sinjida. The scope of the project is to upgrade and renovate the design and construction roads, as well as related ancillary structures. After the upgrade, it will be a 9.5-meter two-way two-lane asphalt dual surface pavement.

Project roadmap

After the completion of this project, it will greatly improve the transportation conditions in the area from Handni to Sinjida, improve the transportation network construction in Tanzania, alleviate traffic pressure, facilitate public transportation, and improve the efficiency of engineering and transportation departments, thereby promoting production activities in the areas along the way and attracting neighboring countries to use Tanzania ports to increase port revenue, driving economic development in the areas along the way.

The 384km road project from Handeni to Sinjida in Tanzania is the largest infrastructure road project undertaken by East Africa Company so far, and is also another major project in cooperation with Tanzania National Highway Administration after the upgrading and reconstruction project of Kigoma Airport in Tanzania.
