On June 25, 2023, China's first high pressure pure hydrogen pipeline test was successful in the pipeline fracture control test field of the National Pipeline Network Group, which provides technical support for China's future large-scale, low-cost long-distance pure hydrogen transport.
At the Harbin National Pipe Network Group Pipeline fracture Control test site, the staff completed 6.3 mpa pipeline hydrogen charging test and 9.45 mpa pipeline blasting test, and the results met expectations.
Qiu Shujuan, technical expert of Western Pipeline Company of National Pipeline Network Group: We used a one-month test, including two stages of hydrogen filling test (pipeline) and blasting (pure hydrogen), to verify the hydrogen compatibility and barrier property of pipeline equipment and the tightness of equipment connections.
This test is the first high pressure online test for non-metal hydrogen transport pipeline in China, and also the first high pressure pure hydrogen explosion test for non-metal pipeline in China. The pipeline fracture control test site of the National Pipeline Network Group is the third pipeline fracture control test site in the world after the United Kingdom and Italy.
