Recently, Guangdong Zhuhai Municipal People's Government GCL Group Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation framework agreement for the 40GWh energy storage cell project.

According to the agreement, both parties will establish a strategic partnership based on compliance with national industrial and regional development policies, jointly promote a package of industrial projects such as energy storage cells, energy storage PACK batteries, mobile energy, industry fund cooperation, and energy storage industry investment, to create better economic and social benefits for both parties.

Among them, GCL Group will lay out a 40GWh energy storage cell project in Zhuhai. Currently, Zhuhai is adhering to the principle of manufacturing being the leader and industry first, fully leveraging its geographical advantages, and accelerating the construction of an industrial agglomeration development ecosystem in key areas such as new energy storage and photovoltaic equipment. After the joint project is settled in Zhuhai, it will further strengthen the core links of Zhuhai's new energy industry chain, attract upstream and downstream new energy enterprises to gather, and help Zhuhai build a highland for the entire new energy industry chain.

It is understood that GCL Group is a company that integrates wind and solar energy hydrogen storage, source network load storage, new energy, clean energy, and mobile energy industries, as well as related industries such as silicon materials, lithium materials, carbon materials, and integrated circuit core materials. In the future, GCL Group will bring first-class technology research and development and scenario application solutions in the fields of high-end equipment manufacturing, energy storage technology and materials to Zhuhai, connect the mobile energy ecosystem, achieve multi-dimensional scenario closed-loop energy storage, and assist in Zhuhai's urban transformation and industrial structure upgrading.
