On June 26, 2023, the Media Dialogue of the Think Tank on the Belt and Road Initiative to inject new impetus into China Poland relations, co hosted by the China Public diplomacy Association and the Chinese Embassy in Poland, was held in Warsaw, Poland. Approximately 70 leaders, think tank experts, and media representatives from China and Poland participated in this dialogue meeting.

Wu Hailong said in his speech that China and Poland are at a critical stage of their respective national development. He expects that under the impetus of the the Belt and Road Initiative, China and Poland can continue to expand the breadth and depth of cooperation and constantly benefit the two peoples. People to people connectivity is an important part of the the Belt and Road construction. The purpose of the delegation of China Public diplomacy Association is to strengthen dialogue, enhance mutual understanding and trust between the two peoples and contribute to deepening China Poland cooperation by building an exchange platform between China Poland think tanks and the media.

Tian Yuhong said in her speech that it is an important purpose of the Belt and Road cooperation to discuss, build and share together and promote prosperity and development together. To achieve this beautiful blueprint, it requires the joint efforts of think tanks and media from various countries to contribute more wisdom and strength. It is hoped that the think tanks and media of the two countries can unite, work hand in hand, and work closely to jointly promote the building of a Community of Common Destiny, promote exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, and improve the level of exchanges and cooperation.

Kovodko said that China and Poland can engage in more exchanges in diplomacy, think tanks, media, and other areas. Professor Gulalchik of the University of Warsaw said that the the Belt and Road Initiative has shaped the concept of global connectivity. Reid Sing, a researcher at Sobesky Research Institute, said that think tanks and the press should be committed to promoting the sharing of good cases along the the Belt and Road, collecting successful experiences and stabilizing the development environment.

Li Ruiyu, the former Chinese ambassador to Denmark and Italy, Jiang Yu, the Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for China CEEC Cooperation, Zhao Gang, Vice President of Beijing Foreign Studies University, Pierchoczynski, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Poland, Traczyk, President of the Polish Media Association, Gazinowski, the chief editor of the Polish Tribune, and others made speeches on exchanges between China and Poland in the fields of economy, trade, people to people and cultural exchanges under the the Belt and Road framework, in order to jointly build the the Belt and Road Propose suggestions to promote the development of China Poland relations.

Before the dialogue meeting, Tian Yuhong and Trazik signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly build a Sino Polish journalist's home. Tian Yuhong said that the journalist organizations of China and Poland are good friends and partners, and the establishment of the cooperation mechanism of the China Polish Journalist Home will be committed to providing better services for journalists from both countries and continuously improving the level of news exchange and cooperation between the two countries.

After the dialogue, the Chinese Embassy in Poland held a reception for China Culture Day, with nearly 400 Polish government officials and guests attending the dialogue. At the reception, the Hubei Wudang Martial Arts Performance Troupe brought a Chinese Tai Chi performance that combines hardness and softness, with a carefree and elegant style. The Fujian Tea Art Troupe made tea drinks of various flavors for guests on site, vividly interpreting the profound and profound traditional Chinese culture. Editor/Xie Li
